My name is Heidi Walker. Dip Hyp GQHP GHReg (HS).
I am a fully qualified Hypnotherapist, I trained with Central Academy of Clinical Hypnosis & NLP, (Hypnofocus in Rugely), which trains to a gold standard accredited course. Their course is one of only two in England that is recognised and approved by The British Psychological Society. When I made the decision to become a hypnotherapist I researched the best training available, and a course that was recognised by the NHS.
What do the letters mean after my name? Dip Hyp is a Diploma in Hypnotherapy, GQHP is a General Qualification in Hypnotherapy Practice, GHReg, means I am accredited and registered with the General Hypnotherapy Register, and HS means I am registered with the National Hypnotherapy Society.
What led me to hypnotherapy? I have worked as a prison officer for 15 and a half years, dealing with male young offenders and adults, and throughout this time I have come across many mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, confidence issues, bullying, suicidal thoughts, family
