I am an experienced, caring hypnotherapist who specialises in helping people with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS). I use a combination of gut-directed hypnotherapy and other techniques to target individual problems and support people as they feel better.

I trained in hypnotherapy in order to help people with IBS after doing physiological assessments of patients with bowel problems in NHS hospitals for 12 years. Before this I was a research scientist at the University of Sheffield where my areas of interest were gastroenterology and aspects of nutrition relating to the bowels. I combine sensitivity and compassion with relevant scientific knowledge and have regular training to update my skills. I am a member of the National Hypnotherapy Society (a professional hypnotherapy organisation accredited by the Professional Standards Authority) and abide by their Code of Ethics.
